Gold coin Wiener Philharmoniker 1/10 Ounce
Wiener Philharmoniker gold coins are the best-selling gold coins in Europe. It is the only coin with a face value in euros. The coins have been minted by the Austrian Mint in Vienna since October 10, 1989. Originally, the coins were minted in only two sizes - 1 oz and 1/4 oz. The coins are named after the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra, which also served as a design on both sides of the coin.
The coins can be purchased in 5 sizes 1/25 (since 2014), 1/10, 1/4, 1/2 and 1 Ounce. The coin design, designed by the Austrian Mint engraver Thomas Pesendorfer, is the same every year, only the year of issue changes.
